What buyers want, what they can spend and which cars are hard to find. Use it to choose what to stock and how to price it.
The cars searched most on Motifiti from 26 October 2026 to 1 November 2026. See every week
The number is how many searches named the car that week.
6 in 10 buyers want a car under KES 1 million. Only 2 in 10 cars on sale cost that little. Cheaper cars are where most buyers are.
More people are looking for these cars than there are cars on sale. The number is how many people are looking for each one. A car like this has fewer rivals and is likely to sell faster.
The shape of car buyers ask for, next to the shape of cars on sale. Where the orange bar is longer, buyers want more than there is.
2019 has the most: 1,951 used cars. A car from a crowded year has many rivals, so its price matters more.
These are the cars people search for most, with the usual price of each. Under each name is the price most of them are listed at. A car priced inside that range is a normal price.
Everything here is counted from Motifiti over the last 30 days: 10,248 searches by buyers and 9,604 cars with a price. We never show who searched for what.
Prices are what sellers are asking, not what cars sold for, and not a valuation. We do not inspect vehicles or verify their condition, mileage or paperwork.
The usual price is the median: half the cars cost more and half cost less, so one very expensive car cannot move it. "Most cost between" is the middle half of prices. A model is shown once at least 20 people searched for it and at least 5 are on sale, and a price range needs at least 8 priced cars. The yearly change is a straight line through the logarithm of each year's usual price. Brand new cars are left out of the year figures, and prices in foreign currency are left out rather than counted as shillings.
The figures refresh through the day. Please link to this page rather than copying the numbers, so whoever reads you sees the current ones.
